Sumo, Japanese restaurant izakaya with Dohyo next to Ryogoku station

There is an izakaya (Japanese tavern) where I bring every friends from overseas.
It is next to Ryogoku station.

The tavern name is Hanano-mai Ryogoku and located next to Ryogoku station, Tokyo, Japan.
There is Sumo arena near Ryogoku station.
You will see many Sumo wrestlers walking or driving bicycle, too.

In the arena, you can not climb on Dohyo (Sumo ring), but you can in Hanano-mai.
Hanano-mai is a spacious tavern and a real Sumo ring is kept in the middle.



You are allowed to step on Dohyo, act like Sumo wrestler and can take pictures.

The interior of the tavern is the term of Edo Period. You would be interested in, too.
